Scope: This standard specifies the marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, identification, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of osmotic pressure testers. This standard is applicable to osmotic pressure testers (hereinafter referred to as testers) that use the freezing point depression method to detect the milliosmolality (unit symbol: mOsmol/kg) of pharmaceutical liquid preparations or solutions made by dissolving/diluting the drug in a suitable solvent.
