- This standard specifies the limit value of energy efficiency, energy saving evaluation value, energy efficiency grade, test method and inspection rules of heat pump water heater (device). This standard is applicable to water heaters (device) driven by electric motors, using vapor compression refrigeration cycle, using air as the heat source, and providing hot water as the purpose. This standard does not apply to water source heat pump water heaters (device).
