Scope: This standard specifies the vibration measurement, measuring instruments and vibration evaluation methods of pumps carried out on the surface of non-rotating parts of the pump. This standard applies to various types of pumps with a rotational speed of 600 r/min~12 000 r/min (less than 600 r/min can be used as a reference), the pump and the motor are coaxial (or the pump shaft and the motor shaft are connected by a rigid coupling ) pump unit. This standard does not apply to submersible pumps, reciprocating positive displacement pumps and pump units driven by internal combustion engines.
