- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine shell-and-tube lubricating oil and fresh water coolers (hereinafter referred to as coolers). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of coolers with a design pressure not greater than 1.0 MPa, a design temperature not higher than 150°C, a cooling medium of seawater, and a working medium of lubricating oil and fresh water.
