This Standard establishes minimum performance requirements from the hydraulic flexible metallic tubes of underground fuel storage system (UFSS) and aerial fuel storage system (AFSS), for transportation of flammable liquid fuels, in order to ensure people-s safety and the environment protection. For this purpose, it specifies tests that preserve the operational features, keeping a safe permeability degree, as well as the tube-s durability in the same levels of the tanks they are connected.
