This standard specifies the method for measuring the vapor pressure generated by volatile liquid chemicals in vacuum using an automatic vapor pressure measuring instrument. This standard is applicable to the determination of the vapor pressure of volatile liquid chemicals with a temperature of 0°C to 100°C, a gas-liquid ratio of 4:1 to 0.02:, and a vapor pressure not higher than 500kPa. This standard does not apply to explosive substances and substances that will ignite automatically when exposed to air at room temperature. This standard does not make recommendations on all safety issues involved. Therefore, before using this standard, users must establish appropriate safety and protection measures and establish corresponding management systems.
