Scope

This standard applies to in-core (on-line) neutron detectors and instrumentation designed for safety, information or control purposes, and also to those components contained within the reactor main cladding. Commonly used detectors are DC ionization chambers, fission ionization chambers, and self-powered neutron detectors.
