EN ISO 16911-2:2013 Stationary source emissions - Manual and automatic determination of velocity and volume flow rate in ducts - Part 2: Automated measuring systems
EN ISO 16911-2 specifies specific requirements for automatic measuring devices (AMS) for volume flow monitoring. It was partly derived from EN 14181, which is the general quality assurance document for automatic measuring equipment and is applicable together with this document. EN ISO 16911-2 specifies conditions and criteria for the selection, assembly, commissioning and calibration of AMS used to determine the volume flow from a source in ducted gas streams. EN ISO 16911-2 applies by reference to the manual reference procedures described in EN ISO 16911-1. EN ISO 16911-2 was developed primarily for emissions monitoring from waste incineration plants and large combustion plants. From a technical point of view, it can be applied to other processes where measurement of the volume flow with defined and minimized measurement uncertainty is required.
