Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of manganese, phosphorus, silicon, chromium, nickel, copper, molybdenum and titanium in stainless steel by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer. This standard is applicable to the determination of manganese, phosphorus, silicon, chromium, nickel, copper, molybdenum and titanium elements in stainless steel with a carbon content of not more than 0.20%. The measurement range is shown in Table 1. The silicon measured in this standard is acid-soluble silicon.
