Scope

This part of SN/T 3318 specifies the method for determining the thorium and uranium content in imported and exported zircon sand by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). This section is applicable to the determination of thorium and uranium content in imported and exported zircon sand. The lower determination limits of each element are: thorium 0.011% and uranium 0.018%.
