- This part of SN/T 2558 specifies the qualitative analysis test method for determining the antibacterial performance of imported and exported textiles using the agar plate diffusion method. This section applies to woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwoven fabrics and other flat fabrics. Down, fiber, yarn, etc. can be implemented as a reference. This section applies to dissolvable and non-dissolvable antibacterial textiles. This section does not apply to samples in which the antibacterial agent does not diffuse at all on the test agar, nor does it apply to samples in which the antibacterial agent reacts with the agar. This section does not involve the evaluation of the safety of antibacterial products.
