Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method for the determination of organotin compounds in wood and wood products. This standard is applicable to the determination of monobutyltin (MBT), dibutyltin (DBT), tributyltin (TBT) and triphenyltin (TPhT) content in wood and wood products. This standard does not apply to wood and wood products in contact with food.
