Scope
This standard specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, specimens, test procedures, result calculations, allowable deviations and test reports of bubble precipitation rate test methods for refractory materials used in glass furnaces (hereinafter referred to as refractory materials). This standard is applicable to the test for determining the bubble precipitation rate of refractory materials when they are in contact with molten glass under isothermal conditions.
