Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, testing, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of dry fan coil units (hereinafter referred to as "units"). This standard is applicable to units that supply cold water and hot water from outside and are composed of fans and coils. They directly supply air to the room and have the functions of supplying sensible cooling, heating or respectively supplying sensible cooling and heating. The air volume is 2 500 m/h. Below, units with outlet static pressure less than 100 Pa, as well as fan coil units operating under dry conditions, only provide sensible heat. This standard does not apply to units with their own cooling and heat sources, direct evaporation coils, steam coils, electric heating, etc.
