Scope
This standard specifies a method for quantitative analysis of the composition of linear low-density polyethylene (PE-LLD) copolymerized with ethylene and α-olefin monomers using carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The second monomer includes propylene, 1-butan Alkene, 1-hexene, 1-octene and 4-methyl-1-pentene, etc. This standard applies to PE-LLDs containing EEXEE, EXEXE, EXXE, EXXXE and EEE multi-unit sequence structures (E represents ethylene, X represents α-olefin). This standard does not apply to PE-LLD containing more α-olefin (such as longer than XXX) blocks.
