- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of filter materials (referred to as filter materials) for air filters (including devices, modules and units, etc.). This standard applies to filter materials made of glass fiber, synthetic fiber, natural fiber, composite materials or other materials that have a filtering effect on airborne particles.
