Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of mechanized sampling and preparation methods for imported and exported coal, the formulation of sampling plans, sampling, sample preparation methods, packaging and labeling of coal samples, and the design of mechanical sampling and sample preparation systems. This standard is applicable to coal samples taken from imported and exported coal from the coal flow on the conveyor belt.
