Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial zirconium oxychloride octahydrate (zirconium hydroxide). This standard applies to materials mainly used as raw materials for the manufacture of zirconium products. It can also be used as industrial zirconium oxychloride octahydrate (zirconium hydroxide) in the rubber and paper industries and as additives, paint desiccants and refractory materials, ceramic glazes and textile industry treatment agents.
