- Scope
- This standard specifies the determination of residual oil content by gravimetric method and the determination of residual iron content by spectrophotometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of residual oil and residual iron content on the surface of steel plates and steel strips after cold rolling and before annealing. The measurement range is: residual oil content on one side of the steel plate 50mg/m~500mg/m; residual iron content on one side of the steel plate 1mg/m~ 400mg/m.
