Scope
This standard specifies the ordering content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of steel plates for steel smelting process furnace shells. This standard is applicable to the shells of blast furnaces and hot blast furnaces (including blast furnace risers, downcomers, tees or ball joints, and dust collectors) and steel plates with a thickness of no more than 100mm for the shells of steelmaking converters and electric furnaces (hereinafter referred to as steel plates) .
