This standard specifies the gas chromatography analysis and identification method for fat-containing irradiated foods. This standard is applicable to the identification of whether fat-containing foods such as fresh meat, fruits, dried fruits, and cereals have been irradiated or not. The identification of irradiation of other fat-containing foods can be implemented as a reference.
