- This standard specifies a reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography method for detecting whether poplar gum is contained in propolis. This standard is applicable to the detection of poplar gum in propolis raw materials and propolis ethanol extracts. When the injection volume of this standard is 5 μL, the minimum detection limit of salicin is 1.3 μg/mL, the lower detection limit of poplar gum in propolis raw material is about 5%, and the lower detection limit of poplar gum in propolis ethanol extract About 15%.
