Scope

This standard specifies the sampling, inspection methods, packaging, labeling and result determination of precious metals and their alloys. This standard applies to the inspection of imported and exported gold, silver and platinum group metals (ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, platinum) precious metals and their alloys.
