This standard specifies the activated carbon adsorption-carbon disulfide desorption/gas chromatography method for the determination of volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in ambient air. This standard applies to chlorobenzene, benzyl chloride, 1,1-dichloroethane, 1,2-dichloroethane, trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, cis-1,2- Dichloroethylene, 1,2-dichloropropane, 1,2-dichlorobenzene, 1,3-dichlorobenzene, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, 1,1 ,2-trichloroethane, trichloroethylene, chloroform, bromoform, 1-bromo-2-chloroethane, 1,2,3-trichloropropane, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane Determination of 21 volatile halogenated hydrocarbons such as alkane, tetrachlorethylene, carbon tetrachloride, and hexachloroethane. If verified, this standard can also be applied to the determination of other volatile halogenated hydrocarbons. When the sampling volume is 10L, the detection limit of this standard method is 0.03~10 μg/m, and the lower limit of determination is 0.12~40 μg/m. See Appendix A for details.
