Scope

This standard specifies the rapid method and the placement method for the analysis of strontium-90 in soil using di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (P204) extraction resin chromatography. This standard is applicable to the analysis of strontium-90 in soil. The method detection limit is: 0.23Bq/kg. The rapid method analysis step is suitable for soil samples with strontium-90-yttrium-90 in equilibrium and without yttrium-91.
