This standard specifies the requirements, statistical scope and calculation methods, energy-saving management and measures for the energy consumption per unit product (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) for the production of glass fiber yarn and glass balls. This standard is applicable to the energy consumption assessment of enterprises producing medium-alkali or non-alkali glass balls and enterprises that produce E glass, ECR glass and medium-alkali glass fiber by the tank kiln method or crucible method, as well as the energy consumption control of new projects. This standard does not apply to manufacturers of high-strength, high-silica, alkali-resistant and other special glass fibers.
