This standard applies to integral frame structure rock direct shear instruments. For calibration methods of other types of rock shear instruments, please refer to this standard. The calibration methods of test instruments and equipment in this standard are consistent with SL 264 "Rock Testing Procedures for Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering".
