- This standard specifies the principles, methods and basic requirements for core thermal power measurement tests of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Through the thermal balance test of the secondary circuit, the thermal power of the core of the nuclear power plant can be accurately measured to ensure the safe operation of the reactor. This standard is applicable to the measurement and testing of core thermal power of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
