Scope
This standard specifies the test items, test methods, test conditions and acceptance criteria for the identification of active is lation valves (especially gate valves and stop valves) that perform safety functions in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants using test methods. Valve electric devices and control circuit accessories should use products that have passed other standards and are not within the scope of this standard. This standard is applicable to the identification of is lation valves installed in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants that are required to maintain performance after being affected by normal operating conditions, abnormal operating conditions and accident conditions, including electric is lation valves and pneumatic is lation valves.
