Scope

This standard specifies the general reliability test methods for electric vehicle drive motor systems on benches, including reliability test load specifications and reliability evaluation methods. This standard applies to drive motor systems for electric vehicles whose final power output is driven by the motor alone or combined with the motor and the engine.
