Scope: This standard specifies the use conditions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of far-infrared drying ovens (hereinafter referred to as infrared ovens). This standard applies to drying ovens that use far-infrared radiant energy generators (commonly known as far-infrared radiators or radiation elements) to dry and bake items.
