This standard specifies the specific test process and method for testing the fracture toughness K, δ (crack opening displacement, CTOD) and J integral of the weld metal of welded joints of metallic materials and its heat-affected zone. This standard is a supplement to GB/T 21143. GB/T 21143 covers all aspects of fracture toughness testing, and has a very close relationship with this standard during use. The fracture toughness test method introduced in this standard is suitable for determining the crack initiation toughness in the engineering sense and cannot be used for testing the so-called crack growth resistance curve. The test method introduced in this standard adopts the metal material after welding and then machining the notch and prefabricating the corresponding fatigue crack sample. The choice of is determined by the user according to the actual situation.
