Scope

This standard specifies the determination method for chlorine and bromine content in crude oil using oxygen bomb combustion-ion chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of chlorine and bromine in crude oil (except condensate). The lower limit of determination of chlorine in this standard is 10 mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination of bromine is 2 mg/kg.
