Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, design, design verification, materials, welding, quality control, documentation, product marking, storage, packaging and transportation requirements for drilling pumps used in drilling and workovers in the oil and gas industry. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, testing and inspection of piston/plunger single-acting drilling pumps.
