- This standard specifies the structural types and classifications, technical requirements, test methods and acceptance rules of voltage equalizing rings, shielding rings and voltage equalizing shielding rings. This standard applies to voltage equalizing rings, shielding rings and voltage equalizing shielding rings used in overhead power lines and substation suspension insulator strings with voltage levels of 330kV and above.
