Scope
This series of standards specifies general requirements for communication between components in a wind farm (wind farm) such as wind turbines and participants such as SCADA systems. The internal communication of each part of the wind farm is not within the scope of application. This series of standards is applicable to communication environments supported by the client-server model. It defines the following three aspects and uses modeling to ensure the scalability of the implementation. a) Wind farm information model; b) Information exchange model; c) Information model and information exchange model are mapped to standard communication protocols. The wind farm information model and information exchange model form an interface between the client and the server. As an interpretive framework for accessing wind farm data, the wind farm information model delivers unified, formatted wind farm data to clients via the server. The information exchange model reflects the full range of effective functionality of the server. This family of standards enables common access between different clients and servers from different manufacturers and suppliers. As shown in Figure 1, the server defined by this series of standards includes the following aspects: ——Information provided by wind farm components, such as "wind turbine rotor speed" or "total power generation within a certain period of time", This information is modeled and can be efficiently accessed. Modeled information is defined in the second part of the series of standards, Information Modeling. - Exchange services for modeled information values, defined in Part 3 of the series of standards - Information Exchange Model. ——Map to the communication protocol and provide a protocol stack to obtain the exchange value from the modeled information. This series of standards only defines how to model information, information exchange and map to specific communication protocols. It does not include how and where to implement communication interfaces, application program interfaces and implementation recommendations. However, the purpose of this series of standards is to obtain information related to a single wind farm component (such as a wind turbine) through corresponding logical devices. This part of this series of standards (hereinafter referred to as this standard) provides general provis ons on the principles and modes of use of this series of standards.
