This guiding technical document specifies the general requirements, welding materials, equipment, pre-welding preparation, welding process, and post-weld cleanup of aluminum and aluminum alloy fusion welding (including oxyacetylene welding, tungsten arc welding, and melting arc welding) , joint quality requirements, defect repair, quality inspection and technical safety. This guiding technical document is applicable to the fusion welding process and quality inspection of aluminum and aluminum alloys with a thickness of 0.5mm ~ 10.0mm. The aluminum and aluminum alloy materials are as follows (see Appendix A for comparison of new and old grades): a) Pure aluminum: 1035, 1050A, 1060 , 1070A, 1200, 8A06; b) Rust-proof aluminum alloy: 5A02, 5A03, 5A05, 5A06, 5B02, 3A21; c) Duraluminum alloy: 2A11, 2A12, 2A16; d) Forged aluminum alloy: 6A02; e) Cast aluminum Combinations of alloys (ZL101, ZL104, ZL114, ZL116 and ZL201) with pure aluminum and partially rust-proof aluminum alloys. Other brands of aluminum and aluminum alloys can also be implemented by reference.
