This standard gives the requirements for sleeving constructed from polyethylene terephtalate yarn, lithtly impregnated with resin to provide mechanical stability. The sleeving has been found suitable for use at temperatures up to 130 °C. It is normally available in internal diameters between 1 mm and 12 mm and is normally supplied in the following colours: natural, blue, red, yellow, black, green and brown. Sizes or colours other than those specifically listed in this standard may be available as custom items.
