The present Standard, ""Configuration management"", is part 5 of EN 13290 space project management - General requirements. The purpose of this European Standard is to define the principles and requirements for the management of the configuration of products within a space project. This Standard defines all the rules for a proper configuration management. The requirements specified herein apply to, and affect the supplier and customer at all levels, when demonstrating the capability to design and supply conforming product.
