Scope

This standard specifies two methods for the preparation of steel samples for oxygen determination. Both methods are suitable for preparing samples for determination of oxygen content, especially for oxygen contents & gt; 0,0050 %. This standard is applicable to steels having a hardness of & gt; 400 HBW 10/3000.
