- This standard specifies the general rules for qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances by measuring fluorescence intensity in the ultraviolet-visible to near-infrared region using a fluorescence spectrometer. However, this does not apply to methods using atomic fluorescence and fluorescent X-rays.
