- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, performance tests, packaging regulations and inspection rules for chemical oxidation generators containing oxidizing substances. This standard applies to the marking and inspection of chemical oxygen generators containing oxidizing substances, but not to the inspection of chemical oxygen generators containing explosive starting devices and listed in category 1.
