Scope

This standard specifies a method for the quantitative analysis of mineral oil content in petroleum lubricants using a continuous elution chromatographic column. This method is suitable for the quantitative analysis of the mineral oil content in lubricants produced by adding the additives listed in Appendix A to mineral oil.
