Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model establishment, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage, product certification and instruction manual preparation requirements for oil storage tank flame arresters. This standard is applicable to the evaluation and test of the performance of oil storage tank flame arresters (hereinafter referred to as flame arresters) installed on storage tanks of light oil products such as crude oil, gasoline and kerosene.
