Scope
This standard specifies α-linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA for short, the same below), docosapentaenoic acid (DPA for short, the same below) and docosahexaenoic acid (hereinafter referred to as DHA, the same below) gas chromatography determination method. This standard is applicable to the determination of α-linolenic acid, EPA, DPA and DHA in health food, but not applicable to the determination of α-linolenic acid, EPA, DPA and DHA in health food with fatty acid ethyl ester as the active ingredient.
