Scope

This part of YS/T 63 specifies the helium hydrometer method for determining the true density of carbon materials for aluminum. This section is applicable to the determination of true density of cathode carbon blocks, prebaked anodes, and calcined petroleum coke. Other solid materials can also refer to this method. This section does not apply to graphite materials.
