Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, composition and type, requirements, inspection and acceptance and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of finned and tube heat exchange equipment. This standard applies to liquid-air heat exchange equipment that uses liquid and vapor as media for forced convection or natural convection cooling or heat exchange.
