Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection conditions, inspection methods, markings and packaging of spherical inner diameter indicators. This standard applies to ball-type inner diameter indicators (hereinafter referred to as "inner diameter meters") with graduation values of 0.01mm and 0.001mm and a measuring range of 3mm to 18mm.
