Scope: This standard specifies the product classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of bis fatty acid ethyl carboxyethyl methyl methyl sulfate ammonium (trade name: bis fatty ester quaternary ammonium salt) and shelf life. This standard is applicable to products produced by lipidizing oil-based higher fatty acids (the main components are linear C-C fatty acids) with triethanolamine and then quaternizing them with dimethyl sulfate. Mainly used as industrial and civil softeners, conditioners, car cleaning agents, antis atic agents, etc.
