Scope
The purpose of this guiding technical document is to provide guidance for travel agencies to voluntarily implement the GB/T 19001-2008 standard. These guidelines do not make any additions, deletions or revisions to the requirements of the GB/T 19001-2008 standard. Due to the characteristics of tourism services, it is very necessary for travel agencies to gain the trust of tourists. The quality management system provides the framework for visitor trust. The control requirements for the entire service process of travel agencies are gathered together in a reasonable order to form a complete travel agency service quality management system, and its integrity is very important. If most of a travel agency's processes are running well, even if only a few processes are problematic, tourists may still lack trust in the travel agency. Any travel agency should do its best to meet the basic conditions required for tourists' trust in all aspects of the travel service process. To achieve this goal, it is recommended that travel agencies should accurately identify the entire travel service process (see Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D) and the relationship between the various internal processes that the service should have.
